WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT DURING TREATMENT

On our first appointment, I will assess how your dog moves, and their posture when stationary. I have studied Canine Anatomy & Physiology in depth and I will palpate your dog using my knowledge to assess for soft tissue injuries such as Strains, Trigger Points and Myofascial issues.

I use four disciplines of Massage

  • Swedish
  • Sports
  • Deep Tissue
  • Myofascial Release, direct and indirect. As a Canine Guild Massage Therapist, I will be using the (Clinically Trialled) Lenton Method which involves the use of Advanced Palpation Skills, BodyMapping and The 7 Protocols which is a set of direct myofascial releases.

I have been trained by Natalie Lenton of The Canine Massage Therapy Centre, The Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner Programme is an intensive two and a half year Vocational Training Course which is externally accredited by LANTRA who are recognised by the regulatory bodies OFQUAL, SQA and Qualification Wales. I have completed over 1200 hours of academic learning and practical training and I have been assessed by both written and practical exams, as well as extensive course work.
